There’s a new vibey spot in town for a hearty (and meaty) meal with drinks, and it’s also 100% Muslim-owned and halal-friendly! R.I.B is a hidden restaurant and bar in the vibrant Kampong Glam area, brought to you by the folks at The Halal Mixologist and @seriouslyfuncollective, and they’re Singapore’s first-ever BBQ rib-specialty restaurant.

Rib lovers must try their Build-Your-Own Ribs (from $22.90) where you get to choose your choice of ribs, sauce and sides. Sauce options include the likes of Hickory BBQ Glaze, Sticky Honey, Rendang, Pommery Mustard and even more unconventional choices like Gochujang and Bakar Kicap.

Goblin’s Sip, $14

For larger groups, they also have hearty sharing platters that are good for up to 4 people, such as the Cajun Seafood Bucket ($88), Ribs Platter ($98) or Fried Platter ($80). To pair with all that meaty and seafood goodness, they’ve also got some quirky medical-inspired mocktails (from $15) you can try: like one that’s served in a literal “IV drip bag”, an “injection” themed one and even a “bubbling one” served in a conical flask!

 R.I.B is tucked away within Rest Bugis Hotel, with a cosy and casual industrial-inspired vibe. You can dine indoors or outdoors in their al fresco area that’s adorned with fairy lights—great for vibey meals with friends and family.
